Adam Brown received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from York University in 1985 and his LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario in 1988. Since that time, his professional expertise has been focused solely in the area of planning and administrative law, including an active participation with applications for official plan amendments, zoning site plan approval, registrations of plans of subdivision, severance and minor variances in addition to a variety of other administrative and municipal matters.
Over the past decade, Adam has consistently been recognized by Novae Res Urbis as one of the top Planning and Development lawyers in the City of Toronto. He has also been recognized as one of the leading experts in the area of land use planning in the Province of Ontario. This has included the processing of applications through the Municipal, Regional and Provincial process including the preparation and completion of a myriad of Ontario Municipal Board Hearings. Adam has been responsible for facilitating approval of a number of different developments within and outside the Greater Toronto Area, including residential infill, hi-rise apartment/condominium developments, retail/entertainment facilities, retail warehouse developments and the establishment of approvals for supermarkets and retail department stores.
